SwapMyHunt.com was created by hunters, anglers, and outdoor people for hunters, anglers, and outdoor people. We all believe the best traditions, friendships, and memories are meant to be shared.
Back in the day, the campfire was where the real stories came out. Hunters and fishermen would sit around after dark, swapping tales about the day, talking about life, and bragging on the next adventure they were chasing. Old friends and strangers alike could end the night like they had known each other for years. And more often than not, somebody would toss out an invite —
“You ought to come with us next time.”
That’s how bonds were built, and that’s how a lot of great adventures began.
My Story,
Back in the 2011, I met another hunter at a NWTF event. I was there looking to get into turkey hunting, He was there as a call competitor that loved turkey hunting, and he knew everything I was looking to learn. Funny enough, after talking for a while I learned he lived in Kentucky and had always wanted to do some inshore fishing for flounder,seatrout and his dream to catch a giant over slot red. Well as luck had it I lived on the gulf coast of Florida, I had a baot and I fished inshore almost every weekend. at that point we made a simple deal — I would take him fishing if he could put me on a turkey. It worked perfectly. He got his fish, I got my first turkey, and we have been true friends and hunting partners ever since.
and so an ember started and has smoldered until now.
Now we can all share our experiences and traditions,
all while making new ones with new friends
How we Work
We are striving to build a community around one simple idea: Outdoor Sportsmen and Women should be able to share the adventures they live for and connect with others who have something different to offer.
Hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts can use our platform to swap experiences like hunts, fishing trips, and other outdoor opportunities
We believe the outdoors is more than a place to hunt or fish. It is where knowledge gets passed down, where families build memories, where mentors shape the next generation, and where old traditions stay alive through new ones. SwapMyHunt.com exists to support that way of life by giving members a trusted place to connect, exchange adventurers, and be part of a community that understands the outdoor lifestyle.
Swapmyhunt.com allows each member to view and post for hunting and fishing trips offered by other outdoor enthusiasts. Our members have the ability to post what they have to offer while also listing a few options of what they may be looking for. it is literally a swap/barter page for hunter and fishermen to see what others have to offer. We are not only swapping adventurers we are also creating new friendships and lifelong memories.
We have memberships that give you the option to connect and DIY everything from there to our concierge level service, where WE do it all for you. We can create an itinerary from door to door or anything in between. We allow you to tell us what you need our assistance with.
Our top two tiers also include hunters insurance and a cancellation agreement agreed upon by both swap parties before the agreement is signed.
Last but not least, we know sometimes even the best of us can have disappointing outings or have issues during our trips on the water or in the woods. Here at SwapMyHunt.com we have what we believe to be a great resolution solution. If you are not satisfied with your swapped adventure you may submit a form for arbitration. *(All members must agree to begin with arbitration through SwapMyHunt.com when they sing up.)
Arbitration begins with an email to our customer service team with a brief description. Our customer service team will then begin the resolution process. This process is all voted and decided on by other SwapMyHunt.com members. Members that have been invited or volunteered for the arbitration solution team will review each side's case and vote on a recommended solution. At that point we hope both parties will be a little unhappy but come to a closure and maybe even shake hands and try it again sometime. We know it wont happen every time but hey we can dream of world peace too.
